Mix & Match Collections for a Colorful Scrapbook Layout

Hello Pinkfresh Friends. Karlla here and I'm so happy to share this project with you. There’s something special about turning everyday memories into beautiful handmade pages. For this layout, I combined delicate florals, soft pastel colors, playful embellishments, and a touch of gold to create a cheerful celebration of life’s little moments.

I was inspired by the beautiful Fresh Start and Crafted Moments collections, which came together perfectly to bring this colorful and joyful design to life. The mix of floral patterns, charming embellishments, and sweet details made it easy to create a page that feels fresh, happy, and full of personality.

Inspired by the beauty of nature and the simple message "The Good Life", this project is all about embracing color, creativity, and the memories that make us smile. Whether you’re an experienced scrapbooker or just getting started, I hope this floral layout inspires you to create a page that feels uniquely yours.

Step-by-Step Instructions: 

1. cut a white 11x11" cardstock
2. Cut a little smaller (so that the white cardstock shows as a thin border), using the delicate floral paper from the 'Crafted Moments' Collection.
3. Stack one on top of the other and do an irregular stitch with the machine around this overlap.
4. Place this overlay on the 'Dream in Color' paper and stick it with foam tape.
5. With another white cardstock, cut a 9x6" rectangle.
6. Use the 'Stay Curious' paper to overlay this cardstock, leaving just a thin white border (like was done in the previous overlay).
7. Sew this overlap too.
8. Stick it in the center, on top of the base you made.
9. Cut two edges of lavender scalloped paper from the "Crafted Moments" collection.
10. Cut the pieces so that they are the size of the rectangle in the center of the project, and so that they overlap.
11. Glue one with glue and the other at the same height of the rectangle, with foam tape.
12. In the Fresh Start Collection, use the gold chipboard from the 'Chipboard Stickers' in the center of the rectangle.
13. About it, place the embellishments like: Ephemera, cardstock stickers, floral ephemera... and the photo. Everything with layers of different dimensions of foam tape, to create dimension.
14. With the Fresh Start cardstock stickers, add the title 'The good life' and more embellishments like some decorated circles and green clips behind the photo.
15. finish with some 'Enamel Shapes'.
