Mistletoe Magic cutfile layout | Vicki Parker
Hello everyone, it's Vicki here today with another layout using the delicious 'Oh What Fun' collection which is available from your favourite online retailer now. I wanted to use this Mistletoe cutfile from the shop - it's really lovely.
I started out with a piece of the reverse of the Snow Globes paper and paired it with some plain white cardstock which I ripped across the top to give a textured effect.
I backed the bow on the cutfile with the reverse of the Holiday Walk paper and the leaves with some of the same green Snow Globes paper and then distressed both with a bit of white gesso which I put on with my fingers. For the berries, I painted some of the Candy Apple liquid watercolour paint onto some plain white cardstock.
I placed the cutfile on foam so that the bow sat on the green and the mistletoe sat on the white. I layered my photo with some die cuts, chipboard stickers and puffy stickers and placed the cluster on top of the bow.
I finished off with some essential jewels mix in green. I think it came together really well and I love how it turned out. I hope it inspires you in some way. Thanks for looking, until next time, Vicki x
