MINI ALBUM WITH PHOTO CARDS / KERSTIN SCHEIDLER

MINI ALBUM WITH PHOTO CARDS / KERSTIN SCHEIDLER

02 May 2024 0 Comments

Hi everyone! Kerstin here today with a new Mini Album inspiration feat. the amazing PICTURE PERFECT collection! This cute Mini Album makes a fantastic gift idea! The cards inside can be put up! I've already given this album as a gift a few times and the people who received it were very happy each time. I've included vouchers instead of pictures. Let's get started!

In the banner you can see the cover of the Mini Album. Here I show you what it looks like from the inside. The individual pages can be set up. This way, the mini can tell a story or the individual pages can be filled with vouchers.

The cover measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. For the cover I used the beautiful paper Write your Story from the 12 x 12 Paper Pack. I ran a leftover thin strip through one of the amazing Chipboard Frames and glued it down. I glued on a small piece of acetate and before I added it to the cover, I places some Jewels: Ballet Slipper. I decorated with the flower paper from the 6 x 6 Paper Pad, a few Enamel Dots, Puffy Stickers and Cardstock Stickers.

Inside:

Base - white cardstock - 10 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch
- folded at 5 1/4 inch - and a slit cut at the bottom (see photo)

Pages:
4 strips of paper 10 x 5 inches - folded at 5 inches - and then the left side folded diagonally

Photo cards:
4 cards 5 x 5 inch - Paper Take it Slow from the 12 x 12 Paper Pack
I decorated with the various embellishments from the PICTURE PERFECT collection

HOW DO:
I glued the cards onto the small, folded triangle of the paper strips. The folded triangle lies with the tip pointing to the top left. Apply liquid glue to the triangle and stick the cards on. This is done in the same way with each card/strip of paper.

I glued the paper strips with the glued cards onto the base paper. Starting from the bottom right, card straight - top right, card rotated 1/4 to the right - top left, card rotated another 1/4 to the top right - bottom left, card rotated another 1/4 to the top left.
To keep the photo cards upright, I glued a narrow 3 inch strip in front of each card.
The two bottom cards are then folded upwards and then again in the middle. Before I glued the base paper with the glued cards into the cover, I attached a ribbon.

I sincerely hope the explanation is understandable. Take a look at Pinkfresh Studio on Instagram. You'll find a Reel there - maybe some things will be easier to understand!

I hope I can inspire you to try out this kind of mini album and get creative with the fantastic PICTURE PERFECT collection.

Thanks for stopping by! See you next time!

Kerstin xx
