I started out by backing the Floral Banner cut file with papers from the Oh What Fun 6x6 paper pad. I also used some of the Oh What Fun journaling bits to back the florals in the cut file.
Once the cut file was backed I added foam adhesive to the back and set it aside while I worked on my background. Since I used a lot of the blues to back the cut file I wanted to add some blue splatters to the background.
I used the Pinkfresh Studio watercolors in Sapphire and Espresso. I mixed the the two together to get a darker blue and used the Sapphire alone as well. I used my paint brush to add a lot of splatter to the background. I also pulled in some silver mist from my stash.
I love how the splatters look peeking out behind the cut file. I adhered the cut file down to my background that I trimmed down to 11.50x11.50. I matted the white cardstock to the Merry Everything pattern paper.
I added two black and white photos of our Liam Jay laying under the Christmas tree! He thought it was funny to pick at the tree lights from under the tree and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to snap some photos! I added one of the puffy word stickers under the photos and a few embellishments to the left and right of the photos.
I love how this cut file turned out backed with papers from the 6x6 Oh What Fun paper pad! Make sure to check out all the cut files available in the Pinkfresh Studio Shop! I hope you enjoyed my layout and are inspired to create using the Oh What Fun collection.
