To make the best of my life, (I have a degenerative spine condition), I love to craft. It takes my mind off of my pain, and lets me escape into a place where I can create and let my mind, (and pain) go. Such great therapy for me. Then when I am finished with a card, I get to share it with friends by letting them know how much I care.

I have a new perspective of my life after my husband had faced some scary health issues a year ago. He is much better now but we don’t take our lives for granted anymore. Every day is a gift and so I have my faith, my family and doing whatever makes me happy! Crafting and sending smiles to others who may need as I did.

I make the best of my life by trying to remember that there’s JOY in the JOURNEY…life is not just about the DESTINATION…but about all the little moments (and the stories that go with those moments)…ALL the details along the way are what make the whole journey so unique…periodically, step back from each moment and just observe what you are seeing…write it down (notebook, envelope, back of receipt, etc), so you don’t forget those instant reactions/feelings/observations when you go to document or journal. Find the JOY! (And this collection is full of JOY!)
