Hello everyone! Kerstin here and I share with you a new project using the awesome "Happy Heart" collection. These colors and patterns are to fall in love with! I wanted to use the awesome Nested Hexagons Hot Foil  for my layout. And here it is!

First I used the medium Nested Hexagons Hot Foil Plate und hotfoiled on some thicker copy paper and a piece of Vellum. Then I die cut the pieces with the Nested Hexagons Die. I was not happy with the result on Vellum this time. It didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. I think it was because I did not put enough pressure on the vellum. 

... BUT we are here to learn - right?

I cut hexagons a little smaller from various papers, glued them to the frame with 3D Foam and arranged them on my 12 x 12 whit cardstock.

From the B-side of the Keep Growing paper I cut strips 3 inches wide and 4 inches long. On one long side I applied a thin double sided tape. I rolled the strip over a thin pencil and taped it together. Then I glued the strips to the die cut hexagon with glue and trimmed carefully off the overlapping ends with a craft knife. I decorated the strips with some of the awesome Ephemera.

I also die cut a hexagon from the B-side of Favorite Places paper, cut out individual leaves with my scissors and glued them with 3D Foam. 

I decorated the other hexagons with a variety of Embellishments, Puffy Stickers and Enamel Dots. On one hexagon I glued a photo of my daughter - my favorite photo motive.
