Layout inspiration Simply the Best Collection | Susi Becerra
Hello everyone! Susi stopping by today to share a new scrapbooking Layout with you that I've created using scraps from the gorgeous Simply the Best collection from Pinkfresh Studio.
Don't you know what to do with the scraps of papers and embellishments? Today we are going to use them to create a fun layout!
Let's get started!
To make this Layout you'll need a 12 x12 white cardstock. First thing to do is prepare the base of the layout. Use cutter and a rule to cut the cardstock with inverted triangle shape. You need to cut five shapes. They don't have to be all the same.
Next, we are going to use the ink cubes from Pinkfresh Studio mixing them with water . I used the following colors: Evergreen, Olive, Sweet Mustard, Storn and a mix of Sapphire and Licorice. They combine with the papers used so first off you must choose the papers you are going to use in your project.
Add small ink spots at the end of the cuts.
Notice where I added the ink. It's not at the vertex but at the widest end. Now, we are going to back the base of the layout with green, blue and yellow patterned papers. Once, we've done this we are going to curl the pieces of white cardstock that we cut. It's so fun! I love this part of the process! Help yoursel with a pencil to do it!
Finally, we are going to play with all the beautiful embellishments from the collection to decorate the Layout. I love to use the tone on tone technique so I picked pieces in green, blue and mustard. I used pieces from Ephemera Pack, Puffy Stickers, Chipboard Flair, Cardstock Stickers and Chipboard Frames. I used one of the frames to put the photo. I added enamel dots as a final touch.
And that's all! Thank you for stopping by! I hope you liked and it inspires you to use your scraps papers! See you next time!
