Home for the Holiday Scrapbook Layouts | Erica Thompson
I can't believe we are into November already! I am excited for the holidays coming up and for some holiday baking! I always love to take a lot of photos when the kids are decorating cookies! I thought it would be fun to back one of the new holiday cut files and document the kids!
I backed the cut file with papers from the Home for the Holidays collection. I added one of my photos in the window of the house!
I added puffy stickers, layered embellishments and ephemera pieces around the layout. I also added 2 more smaller photos to the layout. To finish off the layout I added some enamel dots and my typed journaling.
For my second layout I wanted to pull out the new Pinkfresh Studio inks and add some splatters to my white cardstock background.
I used the Heartbeat, Garden Stroll and Starry Night inks to add ink splatters. I apply the ink pad to an acrylic block and add water with my paint brush. I use the wet brush and flick it all over the paper.
I had three long strips of pattern paper left over from a previous layout so I decided to use these to create my design for this layout. I added some stitching down each strip and ruffled up the edges. I added a few layers of pattern paper behind my photo and lots of ephemera, puffy stickers and cardstock stickers on both sides of my photo! My sweet niece Madison Rose on Christmas Eve! Here is a look at my completed layout!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you found some inspiration here today using the Home for the Holidays collection!
