Holiday Gift-Inspired Layout with Very Merry Christmas collection | Susi Becerra

Hello Pinkfresh friends! It's Susi here again on the Pinkfresh Studio blog. Today I'm sharing a new 12 x 12 Christmas Layout created with the gorgeous Very Merry Collection. This page, titled Ho Ho Ho was inspired by the November Monthly Challenge, which is all about Petals and Thanks. I chose the petals theme and used two colors from the challenge palette - red and green- which perfectly match this festive collection.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Create the base design . Cut two paper strips from the Gift of Together patterned paper, measuring 12 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Then cut another  two strips from Made with Love paper (B-side)
2. Build the gift effect. Adhere the strips on your 12 x 12 white cardstock base, forming a cross shape that mimics the loos of a wrapped gift (as shown in the photo ).
3. Add floral layers. Start building the floral composition using elements from the Ephemera Pack. Layer the elements  to create depth and texture around the center of there layout .
4. Add your photo and journaling. For the photo and journaling use two tags from the  Tags Ephemera pack. Arrange them among the floral cluster for a balanced look.
5. Create there bow. Die cut the bow using The Artistic Bows Die Set and place it at below the intersection of the paper strips to complete the gift effect.
6. Add your title. For there title "Ho Ho Ho" use the chipboard Titles and Phrase Stickers from the collection, or create your own title with Puffy Alpha Stickers.
7. Finishing touches. Complete the decoration with Puffy Stickers and Cardstock Stickers. For small details, add Enamel Shapes and the lovely Wood Stars. They bring that perfect festive sparkle!

Quick Tip

Use foam adhesive behind some of your floral ephemera to add dimension and a layered look. You can also recreate this same "gift package" design in a smaller format-like on a card or mini album cover- .
