Hello Pinkfresh Studio fans!
I was so excited to work with the beautiful Live More collection! I love the mix of fun colors and patterns, and all the sentiments and embellishments are perfect for my kind of layouts. I decided to scrap a close-up pool photo of my daughter for this page. I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and backed the circles with patterned papers from the 6x6 Paper Pad a few of the larger sheets. I love doing this because it allows me to use lots of different colors and patterns all over the page without being too overwhelming. I added foam adhesive behind the cut file and add some dimension and layered my photo under one of the circles. To jazz up the background, I first added some white gesso. Next, I added lots of blue and aqua watercolor. I wanted it to look like she was coming out of the water, and the paint achieved that. I embellished around the photo with some stickers, puffy stickers, die cuts and a pretty metal clip. I had so much fun putting this together!
or my second layout, I was inspired by the big yellow letters MORE on one of the patterned papers. I decided to fussy cut it and use it as a big title element. I combined two patterned papers to create a fun diagonal background. I used a lot of white gesso to fade out some of the pattern and then used a lot of watercolor to add all the blue and aqua. Once that dried, I used a plus sign stencil and some modeling paste to add some bumpy texture to the background. I added in some coral color and a bit of bright green as well. I love how the bright yellow letters and black & white photos pop off the bright colored background. I added some adhesive foam and some tangled thread under my photos for dimension and texture. I went a little crazy with embellishments! I couldn’t resist from using lots of the phrase stickers, puffy stickers, metal clips and some chipboard stickers. I created a vertical cluster up top and a smaller one down below. I broke the title up by adding the letters “OF” using the acrylic letters and then cutting “this” on my Cameo in white cardstock. I love mixing and matching my alphas for title work. I used one of the die cut tags for my journaling.
I love how my layouts turned out! A huge thank you to Pinkfresh Studio for having me as a Guest Designer!
