We are so excited to announce our August scrapbooking guest, Enza Gudor! She has created some amazing projects using our Simple & Sweet collection for you today! But first, how about we get to know her a little better?

Introduce yourself to our readers with a short bio:

Hi everyone! I'm Enza, proud mom to three energetic kids, passionate about paper crafting, photography and memory keeping. I was born and raised in Italy, but moved to rainy Seattle fourteen years ago to be with the love of my life. I have always loved arts and crafts, but only started scrapbooking in 2018, when my son was born. It has become one of my biggest passions, a way of expressing my creativity while documenting our special everyday memories. I like experimenting with new techniques and trends; I find it fun and inspiring. My other passions are traveling, reading, and musical theatre, and I can't live without coffee and chocolate ;)

What inspired you to start paper crafting?

All the pretty paper and embellishments! Most of the time my inspiration comes from patterns and colors. Paper crafting wasn't very popular in Italy when I lived there, so you can imagine how fascinated I was by all the goodies I saw when I visited my local craft store after moving to the United States. I was hooked. I started creating home décor pieces, party decorations, invitations, and more. After my second child was born, I decided to concentrate more on memory keeping projects.

What best describes your paper crafting style?

I would say my style is colorful and very detailed, but also clean and simple. Layering is one of my favorite techniques, and you often find clusters of images on my projects. Lots of dimension!

What draws you to Pinkfresh Studio products?

Let your passion guide you. Don't overthink it, and just enjoy the process. It's all about having fun and doing what makes your heart happy.

Enza has created some really beautiful projects, and you can read more about them in her own words.

My first layout was totally inspired by the unique and fun patterns.

I wanted to use both sides of the “Simplicity” paper for my background, so I just trimmed it to measure 5 inches, and adhered the two pieces on white cardstock. To cover the seam I created a big cluster of elements along the whole length. I fussy cut lemons, flowers, and leaves from the “Lemon Lush” paper, and layered them with several ephemera pieces and Golden Puffy Accent Stickers. I used foam dots to adhere everything down for dimension.

Next, I backed my photo with one of the lovely Stitched Frames that come in the collection, and arranged embellishments behind it for more color and a bit of contrast.

I finished the layout with two gorgeous butterflies, some sentiments, and the “Sunkissed” title.

My second layout is a combination of some of my favorites: cut files, flowers, and lots of layers.

I started by cutting the “Good Company” paper to measure 11 inches square, as I knew I wanted to mat it and create a frame around it. I loved that the “Good Things” paper included all the colors in the collection, so I decided to go with it. The two were machine-stitched together for added texture. I also ruffled up the edges of the mint paper for the same reason. Next, I chose a cut file from the Silhouette Store for the layered flowers. The idea of combining several patterned papers to create the flowers was very appealing to me, as I truly had a hard time picking a favorite! I wanted to use them all! To create dimension, each layer was adhered with foam dots, and each petal was curled either up or down depending on the layer. For the center of the flowers, I used the smaller Epoxy Badges, which were just the right size. To embellish my photo, I added a stitched frame (I'm addicted!), chipboard stickers, and ephemera pieces, before tucking it between the three flowers.

At this point I needed something to fill in the empty spaces, so I decided to use the sentiments in the Golden Puffy Accent Stickers pack to create a sort of circle, and bring the layout together. I added enamel dots around the flowers, matching the colors to the Epoxy Badges, and finished with white paint splatters.

My third and final project for today is a set of cards. I'm not a card maker by all means, but I have been enjoying making them lately. Plus, I couldn't stop creating with this gorgeous collection!

The first card is all about lemons. Very summery and fresh. I backed one of the stitched frames with vellum, and adhered it onto my card panel, which was a combination of two similar patterned papers in different colors. I love the striking contrast between black and yellow. To give more definition and accentuate the separation between the two, I added a thin strip of black cardstock, which I also used as a mat for the panel. I created a cluster of lemons on one corner of the frame, and balanced it with some fussy cut leaves from the black and white patterned paper and my sentiment on the opposite side. Yellow enamel dots and a touch of stitching finished the card.

For the second card, I created a little scene. Here you can see the same design; I adhered two of my favorite patterned papers to the card panel and added a thin strip of yellow paper along the seam to separate them. I then arranged die cuts and embellishments around the stitched frame for a layered look; a sentiment and three hearts from the Golden Puffy Accent Stickers pack finished the card. Easy peasy.

For my third and final card I went with floral elements. The colors are so gorgeous I didn't need to add much more to it. I simply adhered the golden puffy frames to the center of the card and arranged the floral die cuts on opposite corners. Several layers of small and large flowers created the perfect setting for my sentiment, which came from the Puffy Stickers pack. Foam dots were used to add dimension.

I love this layout because it is simple, yet detailed; it has unique elements, such as the flowers made out of folded circles of patterned paper, and the fun buttons. It also features the Dream On collection, which is one of my favorites.
