Hi guys, this is Janna Werner. I am super excited to be sharing my first layout as Pinkfresh Studio designer with you. I am beyond thrilled to have joined the team and hope to inspire you to get crafty. First things first though: Happy Valentine's Day! May your day be filled with love and laughter.

Instead of sharing a 'traditional' Valentine's Day scrapbooking layout with you, I scrapped about 'being yourself & unique' and loving who you are.

I have been doing a lot of watercolor paintings recently. Just like anyone else, I get inspired by many great artists on the internet and Instagram (check out Pinkfresh on Instagram!). I see a lot that I like and try out myself. At some point I was very frustrated with the process and results until I noticed, I wasn't staying true to myself. So I went back and started painting without looking at any other streams or pictures - just me and the paper. I felt better right away. Lesson learned! Be yourself, hence the title of the layout.

I used the Mix No. 1 embellishment collection to create the title and the journaling of this scrapbooking page. I like mixing the different elements as they add various textures to the project which makes it more interesting.

The papers are from the Dream On collection, I also added a piece of white structured cardstock to highlight the middle part.
