Lovely Lane Inspiration: Circles & Twists for Added Dimension | Susi Becerra

Hello Pinkfresh Studio fans! It's Susi here again on the Pinkfresh Studio blog. Today I’m bringing you a brand-new inspirational project made with the Lovely Lane collection.

This time, I’ve created a 12x12 layout featuring overlapping circles connected by twisted paper strips, adding a dynamic and dimensional effect that brings the whole design to life!

1. Select your papers: Choose your favorite patterned papers from the Lovely Lane 6"x8" paper stack. Group them by color tones or themes that coordinate with your photos.
2. Cut the circles: Die cut circles in various sizes using the Stitched Scallop Circle Die Set (small size works perfectly for the largest circles on the layout).
3. Create (5)  clusters: Arrange (5)  groups of circles on a 12"x12" white cardstock base. Layer and overlap them to add interest and dimension.
4. Add photos and embellishments: Decorate each cluster with photos, flowers, and embellishments from the Lovely Lane collection—Chipboard, Puffy Stickers, Ephemera, Cardstock Stickers, and Journaling Bits.
5. Connect the circles: Cut paper strips about ¾" wide. Twist and shape each strip, then glue them between circles to create that beautiful “spiral” or “ribbon” effect connecting your clusters.
6. Add your title: Place your title in the center of the page using Puffy Alphas and Mini Alphabet Stickers from the collection.
7. Finishing touches: Complete your layout with Enamel Dots or add a few watercolor splatters for a light, playful look.
