Hey friends! It's Kathleen here again and today I have a scrapbook layout made with the wonderful Ordinary Joys collection for you. I don't know about you, but I absolutely LOVE the color scheme of this collection and how many possibilities it offers!

For my project I decided to pick a few of the more muted colors and I immediately had a photo in mind that would fit these perfectly.

Apart from matching the colors of your products to your photo (or vice versa), you can also create visual harmony by echoing the shapes of the main design elements in your project.

As soon as I saw the Infinite Happiness paper, I knew I wanted to fussy cut the circles! If you're wondering how I got such smooth, even circle edges, here's a little secret: I first roughly fussy cut the circles from the 12" x 12" and 6" x 8" papers, then used circle dies in various sizes to die cut them a second time. This gave each circle a perfectly clean, smooth edge.

Let's take a look at how you can recreate this layout:

1. Start with a 12" x 12" white cardstock and trim off approx. 1/8" on the left & right side.
2. Trim (2) 1/4" strips from the top of the Good Company paper. Adhere one strip to each side of the white cardstock to bring the layout to its original 12" x 12" size.
3. Fussy cut/die cut circles in different sizes from the 12" x 12" and 6" x 8" Infinite Happiness paper in colors of your choice.
4. Die cut your photo into a circle.
5. Arrange the paper circles in a vertical line in the center of the layout. Let them overlap & use a mix of normal and foam adhesive for different levels of dimension.
6. Add the photo roughly in the center of the page with foam adhesive.
7. Add round embellishments in coordinating colors.
8. Choose a title from the Chipboard Stickers or use the Puffy Alphas to spell out your own.
9. Optional: Add your journaling. I added mine in a wavy line going around the circles - this helps to keep the layout flowing.

Tip: To add a little more variety and visual interest, incorporate a few embellishments that "break" with the circle theme, such as star-shaped puffy stickers or wood veneer accents. These contrasting shapes help create balance and keep the design feeling fresh and dynamic.

I'm really happy with how this page turned out and love how the colored circles complement the colors in my photo!
