Hi Pinkfresh Studio's fans! Happy Thrusday! Today I'm back here to show you a new idea using the lovely Happy Heart collection. I decided to make a classic mini album design and give it a new style with some ideas. I made a Star Mini Album using the Butterflies Die as a central design detail. Let's get started :)

I love the Butterflies Die and as the Happy Heart Collection has so many butterflies I thought it was perfect for this idea.

Also I used the Essentials: Inverted Stitched Scallop Circles and the Mini Slimline Essential Bundle to prepare pockets for every page.

 Cover: you will need 2 pieces of cardboard of 6" w x 6" h, cut a diagonal and complete the pieces with one of the papers of the Happy Heart collection 12 x 12 paper pack.

Also I prepared some small paper rosettes and cut colorful butterflies from the Item #136222 Beautiful Moments. As an extra detail for my cover I used the Metallic Pearls: Matte Gold, the Puffy Alpha Stickers and one word from the Title Ephmera Pack.

 Pages: I cut 6 pieces of white cardstock of 12" w x 6" h and 6 pieces of design paper of of 12" w x 6" h. Score the white cardstock pieces at 6" (wide) and the design paper pieces at 3", 6" and 9" (wide).

I use the Butterflies Die to punch out the center of all design paper pieces. And I started putting together the mini album. Die cut the ends with the die sets of Essentials: Inverted Stitched Scallop Circles and the Mini Slimline Essential Bundle.

Once I finish the above, I glued the design paper pieces 1/8" inward from the edges. When pasting the design paper, it must be done taking into account leaving the pockets.

The photos must go in the center and folded in half. Once you have each page structure ready .. it's time to decorate!

As you can see the pockets remain with "windows" for more photos. And for all the pockets I prepared extra cards with tabs to be able to add journaling to the photos. 

I prepared decorations thinking of different focal points: a- the butterflies and b- the beginning and end of the mini album. 

In all cases, I combined some pieces of the Ephemera Pack, Floral Ephemera Pack, Title Ephmera Pack, Cardstock Stickers and Enamel Dots.

As you can see it's possible to add different details to all the pages. It's so lovely to see the photos through the butterflies! I LOVE the result of this idea YAY!
