Big title layout, featuring Lets Stay Home | Jung AhSang
Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends! It's Jung here, and today I’m sharing a layout that I made with the Lets Stay Home collection.
My daughter turned 14 a couple months ago, and because of social distancing, she was missing her friends. I decided to make a big quote title on this layout about her.
First, I used the Pinkfresh Studio Adore Alpha die set to diecut the letters from pattern paper. For most of the words, I used the Hope for a New Day pattern paper, and for the last word, I used the Better Things Are Ahead pattern paper.
On a sheet of white cardstock, I added some blue splatters using watered down sapphire watercolor. I arranged the letters left justified on the cardstock, and stitched through the middle with my sewing machine. Next, I added my photos, which I backed with the Hold On pattern paper.
I embellished the photos with a puffy stickers, stickers, enamel dots, ephemera, and mini puffy alpha stickers for the 14. I chose the embellishments that reflect how she's been spending her time while safe at home. I glued on my journaling strips, and they fit perfectly in the white space between the word "the" and the photo.
I decided to look through my Pinkfresh Studio stamp sets, and found the little sun image in the Falling for You stamp set. I thought it was so cute, and would work perfectly with the quote. I colored it with copic markers, then used the coordinating die to cut it out. I also decided to use the cloud die from the set to diecut a few clouds from white cardstock to add to the layout.
I love how this layout turned out, and I hope you enjoy it too. Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
