2 layouts featuring Simple & Sweet | Jung AhSang

Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends!  It's Jung here, and I am so excited to share my first DT projects and blog post!  I am such a huge fan of Pinkfresh Studio products already, and this Simple & Sweet line couldn't be any sweeter!

I love the soft rainbow colors of this collection, and I wanted to highlight that in a project.  I created a rainbow pattern of butterflies on my first layout.

ONE DRESS:

I used an old butterfly punch from my stash to punch out butterflies from the various pattern papers in the collection.  I stacked 2 like colors together, and glued them only in the middle so I could fluff up the wings.  I lined them up in rainbow order (I used a ruler and measured it all out...I'm kind of a stickler for things like that, haha).  I added machine stitching down the center of the butterflies.

Next, I added my photos.  (These photos are of my 3 girls wearing the same traditional korean dress called a "hanbok" on each of their 1st birthdays.)

After that, I added the title using the fabulous puffy gold alpha stickers, and added in little details to finish off my layout.

For my next layout, I really wanted to play with the stitched frames in this collection.

PLAY ON:

I added a little bit of ink blending and ink splatters on white cardstock.  I used a cut file (this one is called Hearts Background from Paige Evans), and adhered it on top.

Next I added 3 of the frames and the photos.  (These photos are from my daughter's 6th grade Spring band concert.)  Even though the frames are already embellished, I added more embellishments with bits and pieces from the ephemera pack, epoxy stickers, enamel dots, and gold puffy hearts.

To finish off my layout, I added the title using the puffy gold alpha stickers (since they mimicked the gold of the trumpet), and a little bit of journaling.

I really love how my layouts turned out.  I hope I've inspired you to get crafty!  Have a great day!
