Monthly Challenges

March 2020 Challenge

March 2020 Challenge

Welcome to the March challenge at Pinkfresh Studio! You all created such amazing projects for last month's challenge, and we can't wait to see what you create this month! This challenge is for ALL papercrafters - including scrapbooking, cardmaking, minis, journals, notebooks & more!

If you haven't checked it out yet, we featured our Top 3 Cards & Layouts, plus the prize winners from the January challenge on yesterday's post! Who knows...maybe it will be YOU this month! You never know unless you play along! :)

This month's challenge is all about FRAMES!

This month we want you to Frame It! This could mean using an actual frame around your photo, or clustering around it with stickers & embellishments. For our cardmaking friends, it's a perfect time to pull out those brand new Frame Builder Botanical die sets, or use some of your favorite Essentials framing dies!

We have picked colors from the brand new Super Cool collection, but as always, you are more than welcome to use any Pinkfresh Studio products you have. The colors coordinate with the following premium dye inks: Sky Blue, Mint, Ballet Slipper, Sunshine & Passion Fruit.

We will also have some coordinating freebie cutfiles become available throughout the month of March in our Facebook Friends Group. We would love for you to join, hang out and grab all our freebie cutfiles!

The sky is the limit, and we can't wait to see your challenge projects. This can include layouts, cards, notebook spreads, mini albums, DIY decor...anything that is papercrafting related. As always, you are welcome to use just the theme, just the colors or mix them together and use both!

Some of our designers have created projects using the challenge to inspire you and help you get started! Check them out:

Amanda Baldwin

Ashlea Cornell

Heather Hoffman

Cristina Sales

Flora Farkas

Missy Whidden

Anett Gelencsér

Natalia Valkovskaya

Lauren Hender

One cardmaking entry and one memory-keeping entry will receive a $50 gift card to the Pinkfresh Studio Store! The two winners will be randomly selected based on these two categories.

Now it's time for YOU to play along!

  1. Create a new card, layout, journal/notebook page, mini album, DIY or any paper project using the challenge graphic posted above. While it is fine if you use items from other companies, the focus should be on Pinkfresh Studio product.

I’m hoping to add to my PFS stash, but in the meantime it’s great you have a theme or a color combo for challenges. That makes it possible for me to come up with an entry using my limited PFS goodies. I really had fun making 2 very different cards for the March challenge. The DT projects are always inspiring!

Note: I deleted Card # 60 and re-posted to Card #65.
The comments from Card #60 is still good for Card #65.
Sorry for the confusion.

Card 60 – Love Stands Out Card
When I was creating this card, I had in mind the front line personnel – doctors, nurses, pharmacists, or even the store staff who stock our daily needs. Their love during this epidemic stands out all the more. Truly grateful for all you do.

I used the Adore Alpha Dies to cut out the “Love” words to create the frame. In the middle, I used a transparency to hold the sentiment “Your love stands out”. To make it more interesting, I made it to be a “stand up” card.
