You are my favorite┃Maria Peters

Hello Pinkfresh Friends,

this is Maria and today I share a slimline card with you I created with the gorgeous You are my favorite slimline Stencil from the latest release. I started by die cutting out my card front with a die from the Slim stitched rectangle die set.

Then I used the stencil one after the other and applied the ink very carefully with my blending tool. I wanted to achieve a very delicate, airy look and I used the following Ink Colors:

Sparkling Rose and Bubble Gum

Soft Lilac and Lavender

Grassy Knoll and Key Lime

To emphasize the elegance of the flowers, I’ve heat embossed the sentiment from the Floral Notes Stamp Set in gold on vellum. Then I put the vellum strip around the card front as a bellyband and glued it on the back.

Finally I mounted the card front on the card base using foam tape. A few jewels here and there give the final touch.
