Challenge #2: Thank You cards with TaeEun

Hello and happy World Card Making Day 2020!  It's TaeEun. Now it's my turn to host  a fun challenge to celebrate this special day! 

The theme I have chosen is THANK YOU! We need some thank you cards always, right? I used the Thankful for Friends stamp set and Thank You die for my inspiration card.

I started off by heat embossing the beautiful poppies from Thankful for Friends stamp set in gold on a piece of heavyweight YUPO paper. The regular YUPO paper would warp by heat embossing. The heavyweight one stands the heat very well.

I then colored the image using alcohol inks and Copic refills in Sunset Orange, Valencia, Copic refill Y06, Y19, Flamingo, Raspberry. Meadow and Limeade. I used a small brush to color the image. After the coloring was done I splattered Gold Mixative on the whole panel and let it dry.

Next I cut it using the Slim Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die and foam mounted it on a kraft slimline cardbase.

The Thank you was cut four times from some heavyweight white cardstock and once from gold foil paper. I layered them all and added it to the card. I finished off the card with some white Jewels.
