Hello, crafty friends! Hope you’ re having a wonderful week so far! It’s TaeEun here today, sharing a floral card featuring the Peony Perfection stamp, Steeped in Kindness suite, and Leafy Lattice Press Plate from the latest Release.
As you might know, I love coloring with all kinds of mediums. While the coordinating layering stencils make it easy to color the Peony Perfection stamp, I wanted to try a watercolor-style look instead. For a soft, no-line coloring effect, I stamped the images in Peach Fuzz ink and used Pinkfresh Studio ink pads as watercolors to bring the flowers to life.

Here’s how I made this card:
- Stamp the Peony Perfection in Peach Fuzz on watercolor paper
- Dab ink pads onto a clear acetate sheet placed over white paper, mist with water, and use as watercolor.
The ink colors used:
- for the flowers : Sweet Mustard, Clementine, Peony, Raspberry Bliss
- for the leaves : Grassy Knoll, Sweet Mustard, Olive, Eucalyptus - Cut the images using the coordinating die.
- Stencil the tea pot from the Steeped in Kindness suite using Peach Fuzz, Warm Buff, and Sheer Freesia
- Cut the tea pot using the Steeped in Kindness coordinating die.
- Die cut three extra tea pots from white cardstock and stack them for dimension, placing the stenciled one on top.
- Ink blend an A2 sized mixed media panel in Espresso und Stargazer, then mist with water for a watercolor effect.
- Dry emboss the panel using the Leafy Lattice Press Plate.
- Arrange the floral clusters over the tea pot as shown in the picture.
- Press the sentiment from the Steeped in Kindness press plate in Stargazer, cut with the coordinating die, and add it onto the teapot.
- Embellish with Gold und Amethyst Glitter Drops for a touch of sparkle.

I’m glad I gave this technique a try! I sometimes used this method for backgrounds, but this was my first time watercoloring detailed floral images with Pinkfresh Studio ink pads. It worked beautifully, and I’m really happy with the result. I hope I could inspire you with my card today!
Thank you so much for stopping by !
Happy Crafting!
