Tomorrow is always fresh with no mistakes in it yet!
Hello friends! It's Kelly here today sharing a floral card using some of my favorite new products paired with a few older favorites as well! I have to admit that this wasn't my first attempt at today's card...I had stamped a beautiful panel of green ink using the new Color Block: Gradiating Stripes background. I love how it looked, until I dropped a stamp RIGHT ON TOP! Has that ever happened to you? I was so sad and it ended up in the bin! Oh well...such is life and it gave me an excuse to pull out one of my other new favorites: Sweet Blooms
It pairs so nicely with the bold floral image from the Sending Love and Hugs stamp set, don't you think? One of the things I love the most about this particular flower image is that you can add many of the sentiments directly onto the image, like I did today. The "tomorrow will be a better day" is stamped directly onto the image.
I also love how nicely the other sentiment complements the first. I heat embossed it with white powder onto a black strip for contrast. This is one of my favorite sentiments, maybe because it reminds me of Anne of Green Gables!
I love the addition of the Essentials: Ornate Oval frame to give the card some extra detail! I love the white on white with the hint of green around the edges. I had a lot of fun working on this card (after I said good-bye to the first background...ha ha) and I'm happy with how it turned out! I guess the sentiment on this card is perfect for me! Thanks for joining me!

Beautiful card! Love the background and all the layers! Sorry to hear about the messed up background- yes it happens to me, but is usually a smudge.
