Hello Pinkfresh friends! Hope you're having a great week! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a couple of cards made using some of our August Release items. I picked autumnal color combinations for my cards today. To create the background I used the Color Block: Gradiating Stripes stamp and die. Let's take a look :) !

The first card is in the brown-gold-coral-olive color theme.

I started off by stamping the Color Block: Gradiating Stripes stamp on an A2 sized white panel from the top to the bottom in Espresso, Gathered Twigs, DoeWarm Buff, and Peach Fuzz. I gold heat embossed three stripes in between and stamped some of the stripes again in a white pigment ink to make the color brighter so that I have an ombre brown striped panel. I cut the panel using the Diagonal Stichted Rectangles die and foam mounted it on a white cardbase.

I gold heat embossed the outlined floral cluster from Charming Floral Wreath stamp set several times on a watercolor paper panel and colored them using our premium dye inks. I applied the inks on a large acrylic block and picked up the color using a wet brush. The flowers were colored in Peach Fuzz, Apricot and Coral Reef and the leaves in Olive, Warm Buff and Doe. I cut them using the coordinating die and arranged them on the striped background.

The sentiment is from Sending Love and Hugs stamp set. I white heat embossed it on a piece of a brown cardstock and cut it using one of the Fancy Label Frames dies. I cut a larger fancy label from some vellum as a mat for the sentiment label. To finish off the card I scattered some creme colored Jewels.

The second card is in the yellow-orange-gold-teal color theme.

I stamped the flowers of the floral cluster from Sending Love and Hugs stamp set in Sunshine and Apricot. The leaves were stamped in Ocean Breeze. I added Aquamarine on the leaves using a finger dauber to add a darker shade to the leaves.  I cut the floral cluster using the coordinating die and set it aside.

Next I started making the background. I colored a watercolor paper panel in Sunshine, Clementine and Sky Blue Liquid watercolor and cut it with the Color Block: Gradiating Stripes die. I foam mounted the stripes on a white cardbase and added the floral cluster to it on a nest of some golden thread.

The sentiment Hi was cut using the Lea’s Ornate Uppercase and the Heather Lowercase dies from some gold foil paper. The outline of the letters was cut from white cardstock. I ink blended the upper part of the outline in Ocean Breeze. The creme Jewels were the finishing touch for this card as well!

That’s it from my side for today! Hope you enjoyed looking my cards!

Btw have you watched Channin’s video on our YouTube channel? She used the same color combination for her floral cluster like my second card but paired it with a dark background which gives a totally different look to her card! It’s so gorgeous!  Hope you'll check it out, if you haven’t already :) !

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Have a crafty day!

Hugs,

TaeEun

I love the 2 cards very much! The 1st one with brown stripes is awful pretty the colors on the stripes are perfect and they go good with your pretty flowers arranged all it. A very pretty card! The 2nd card the stripes are really cool how the orange in mostly on the top left corner, made it stand to attention! So bright ghb t right there so it makes it stand right out! Your pretty flowers arranged so pretty! Love the card, I really love the stamp background and die set! The possibilities are so amazing, well you could figure something different each time you used it. Thank- you🙂💜

Beautiful set of cards! Thanks so much for your detailed instructions…loved the two toned effect behind the ‘hi’ on your second card!
