Three Easy and Elegant Designs with Blooming Grace | Rachel Alvarado

Hello Pinkfresh Studio friends!  Are you ready for the new release?  It's Rachel here and I have three cards to share with you that feature the Blooming Grace Stamp Set, coordinating Blooming Grace Dies, and stencils.  This gorgeous set will be releasing this upcoming Tuesday, March 11th, with the Joyful Blooms Release!

How to recreate these cards:

FLORALS:

1.  To create your florals, first stamp the images from this set twice onto pieces of white card stock with Detail Black Ink.

2.  Use the coordinating Blooming Grace Stencils along with Pinkfresh Studio Inks to blend some color onto your images.

• Stencil 1: Sparkling Rose 
• Stencil 2: Cherry Blossom
• Stencil 3: Peony
• Stencil 4: Warm Buff
• Stencil 5: Begonia & Bubble Gum
• Stencil 6: Peony

3.  Die cut your images with the coordinating dies.

CARD 1:

1.  Trim a pice of pink card stock to 4.25" x 5.5" and run it through your die cutting machine with the Stitched Basket Weave Coverplate Die.

2.  Use the third and fourth largest dies from the Essentials: Doubled Stitched Rectangles Die Set to die cut a double stitched white rectangle frame.

3.  Trim a piece of cream colored card stock to 3 1/8" x 4 3/8" and lightly blend some Cherry Blossom ink onto the panel starting at the lower left corner and working your way upward diagonally.  Fade the ink out toward the center of the panel leaving the color of the card stock showing near the top right corner.

4.  Stamp your sentiment with black ink into the center of the panel and adhere the double stitched rectangle frame on top using some liquid adhesive.

5.  Using double-sided foam tape, add your ink blended/framed panel to the center of your card base and then add your floral images with more foam tape for added dimension.

CARD 2:

1.  Trim a piece of mahogany card stock to 4.25" x 11" and fold at the center to create a top-folding A2 sized vertical card base.

2.  Trim a piece of Kraft card stock to 4" x 5.25" and lightly blend it with Peony and Cherry Blossom Ink starting with your darker color at the lower left corner.  You can then add diluted ink spatters if you want for extra texture and interest.

3. Once dry, die cut this piece with the second largest Essentials: Doubled Stitched Rectangles Die.

4.  Heat emboss your sentiment with fine white detail embossing powder to the top right corner of this panel and then attach the panel to your card base with double-sided tape.

5.  Adhere your florals with dimensional foam tape

1.  Trim a piece of light peach card stock to 4.25" x 5.5" and stamp the corners of it with the largest floral stamp from the Blooming Grace Stamp Set using Warm Buff Ink.

2.  Add a double stitched rectangle panel die cut from white card stock using the fourth largest die from the Essentials: Double Stitched Rectangles Die Set and stamp your sentiment in the center of it with black ink.

3.  Add your stitched rectangle panel to the center of your card base with 3D foam adhesive tape for a pop of dimension.

4.  Add your florals with more foam tape to the alternating corners of the stitched rectangle panel.
