Thankful for Friends | Caly Person

Hi Friends! 

This is Caly and I’m so happy you can join me today!  I’ve created a card using the Thankful for Friends set from the latest release.  This set is illustrated by my talented friend, Alex Syberia!

I stamped and colored my image using Copic markers.  After die-cutting, I used my white gel pen to add dots of interest on the image.

Copic markers used:
Flowers:  RV32, R85, R89
Stems/Leaves:  YG12, G14, G17

For my background, I used a piece of patterned paper from the Celebrate Paper Pack.  It adds a delicate background but isn’t too distracting.  To give the edge some interest, I die-cut this with a Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die.

Before adhering my image, I embossed my sentiment on the panel using gold embossing powder.  I attached my image with foam adhesive to give the card more dimension and then finished by attaching some pink Jewels to my card.
