Happy Thursday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a “Thank You” Floral/Watercolor card made using Lea's Ornate Uppercase Die and Heather Lowercase Die sets. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step by step on how I made it.

To begin with, I started by creating the card panel, so to that I taped down a large watercolor paper panel over a clipboard, and then I added water to it using a large watercolor paint brush along with a mix of Pink, Orange and Yellow hues that I had previously mixed on my watercolor palette using Bubble Gum, Clementine and Sunshine liquid watercolors from Pinkfresh Watercolor Collection.

Therefore, once I had the water-coloring done over the watercolor panel I set it aside to let it dry. Meanwhile, I placed inside the stamping tool a large piece of translucent vellum and I went ahead to get it prep using embossing powder tool since I was going to white heat embossing a few floral elements from the Floral Elements Stamp Set. So, for the stamping and heat embossing, I’ve gotten stamped every single floral element from the stamp set using embossing ink and once I had the stamping done, I went ahead to get the stamping heat emboss using Opaque Bright White embossing powder and my Heat Embossing Gun Tool.

Moving along, after I had the heat embossing done, I started the die-cutting process so, to do that I lined up over each floral element their coordinated dies from the Floral Elements Die Set, and then once I had them lined up I ran them though the die-cut machine to die-cut them out from the translucent vellum. Thus, after I had the floral element die-cutting pieces done, I set them aside and I continued with the die-cutting process for the alphabet letters.

So, for the alphabet letters I lined the T and Y from the Lea's Ornate Uppercase Die Set over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I ran them through the die-cut machine to die-cut them out twice since I wanted to create dimension by stacking them together. That said, after I had the Uppercase letters done, I stacked them up like I previously said it and then, I set them aside. Meanwhile, I lined up over a large piece of white cardstock the rest of the letter dies to complete the Thank You however, to create a combination of letters I used the Lowercase letter dies from the Heather Lowercase Die Set.

Lastly, after I had each dimensional die-cutting letter, I set them aside and I went ahead to lined up the Simply Diamonds Die over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I ran it though the die-cut machine to die-cut the frame twice for the card. Once, I had the die-cutting frames done, I stacked them together and I started the assembling for the card. So, for the assembling I diluted a small amount of gold acrylic paint over a piece of acetate with water and then I smooshed it over the water-colored panel therefore, after I had that done and the card panel was complete dry I trimmed the edges down from it and I mounted the backing of it with craft foam mounting tape to a side folding white card base. Then, right after that I glued down the dimensional frame, and I kept going by gluing with liquid glue each letter until the die-cutting Thank You sentiment was completed.

Finally, after I was done adhering the alphabet letters, I finished the card off by gluing down with liquid glue the floral elements (as shown in the image above) as well as pink jewels from the Essentials: Jewel Mix set for a touch of sparkle. By the way, at first I thought about leaving the Thank You sentiment plain white but, I decided to add the last touch of texture by die-cutting the letters one more time out of a white heat embossed background and by adhering them over the plain letters. So, for the texture I used once again the same embossing powder along with Cling Rubber Stamp: Diamond Tiles which by the way happens to be one of my most favorite background stamps from Pinkfresh!
