Hi Pinkfresh friends! Hope you’re having a great week so far! It’s TaeEun here today with a mini slimline card featuring Sweet Friend Floral set and Slimline Hearts Builder Layering stencil set from our latest release. The Sweet Friend Floral set is available as a stamp set, a hot foil plate, a layering stencil set and a coordinating die set. The stamp set has a one piece stamp with five cute floral images along with a few friendship sentiment stamps.  For my card I used the hot foil plate.

I hot foiled the Sweet Friend Floral in gold and stenciled the images using the Layering stencil set. I stenciled the first layer of the flowers in Ballet Slipper and Apricot and the second layer in Sparkling Rose. The center of  the flowers were stenciled in Sunshine and Warm Buff and the leaves in Ocean Breeze and Aquamarine. These colors became my favorite combination :) !
After the stenciling was done I cut the images using the coordinating die and set them aside.

To create the background I stenciled the Hearts Builder in Ballet Slipper and Sparkling Rose. This Layering Stencil set has three layers. I used Sparkling Rose for the second and the third layer. To add an ombre effect to the background I ink blended the upper part of the background panel in Ballet Slipper, Sparkling Rose and Bubble Gum. I also added a bit of Apricot to match it with the flowers. I splattered white opaque ink on the panel and let it dry. I cut the panel with the diagonal stitched mini slimline die from the Mini Slimline Essentials Bundle and foam mounted it on a white slimline cardbase.

To place the flowers on the card I used white circles which were cut using the circle dies from the Mini Slimline Essentials Bundle. I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Friend Floral stamp set in Detail Black ink on one of the circles and added the circles to the card using foam tape and the flowers on them as shown in the picture. The gold heat embossed “Thanks!” Is from Just a Hello Floral set.

The Small Butterfly was hot foiled in gold and stenciled in Ballet Slipper, Sparkling Rose, Sunshine and Apricot. I have the Small Butterflies hot foiled in my stash and use them one by one when I need. I stencil the individual butterfly in the colors I want. The Gold Pearls were perfect to finish off my card! 

I also made a matching envelope using the Keeping it Real 12x12 paper and the Mini Slimline envelope die!
