Hello, Pinkfresh fans! It's Kathleen here, and today I’m sharing a fun shaker card featuring the Steeped in Kindness product combined with some other wonderful new Pinkfresh Studio products - perfect for adding texture to your projects!

Let's see how this card came together:
- Prepare the Base: Cut an A2 side-folding card base from white cardstock.
- Card Front: Use Lemon Whip, Coral Reef and Peach Fuzz inks to ink blend the front of the card base. Then use the Leafy Lattice press plate (without ink) and the BetterPress Letterpress system to add texture to the card front.
- Steeped in Kindness: Hot foil the bird & floral clusters using the Steeped in Kindness press plates with Champagne glimmer foil.
-
Ink Blending: Use the coordinating layering stencils to color in the hot foiled images with the following colors, then die cut using the coordinating dies:
-
- Stencil 1 (only Bird & Florals part): Slumber (bird), Sweet Mustard (flower)
- Stencil 2 (only Bird & Florals part): Slumber (bird), Sunkissed + Sheer Freesia (flowers)
- Stencil 3: Raspberry Bliss (Birds & Florals 3), Grassy Knoll (Birds & Florals 4)
- Stencil 4: Key Lime (Birds & Florals 5), Raspberry Bliss + Seaside (Birds & Florals 6)
-
-
Shaker Element:
- Die cut a white panel with the third-largest die from the Double Stitched Rectangles die. Adhere the large ink blended floral cluster to the lower left corner.
- From another piece of white cardstock, die cut a white frame using the fourth- and fifth-largest dies.
- Cut a piece of acetate to 2.5" x 4" and glue it behind the die cut frame. Add foam adhesive on the back around the frame; make sure not to leave an opening.
- Turn the frame upside down, fill it with sequins and glitter of your choice, then adhere the white die cut panel from Step 3.1 on top. Part of the ink blended floral cluster will be "inside" the shaker.
- Adhere the full shaker element using foam adhesive to the card base.
- Add the Sentiment: Hot foil the "Take time for yourself" sentiment from the Steeped in Kindness press plates using Magenta glimmer foil. Then die cut plus two extra pieces & stack them up.
- Adhere the sentiment centered on top of the shaker element. Also add the die cut bird & small floral cluster.
- Finishing Touches: Embellish to your liking. I used Gold Metallic Pearls.
Enjoy your beautifully layered and dimensional shaker card! 💖🌈✨

If you are not a fan of shaker cards, you could easily skip that part and simply leave the die cut frame empty!
