Happy Friday, Pinkfresh Studio fans! Kathleen here, and I’m so excited to be back, sharing a card that’s both simple and elegant—created with the beautiful Good Times product suite from our latest release of the same name. ✨

Let's have a look at how you can recreate this card:
- Cut an A2 side-folding card base from white cardstock.
- Ink blend a 1/4" border on the front using Ballet Slipper ink.
- Cut a white cardstock panel slightly smaller than A2.
- Dry emboss it using the Stippled Plaid press plate.
- Adhere the panel to the card base using double-sided adhesive.
- Hot foil the Good Times images with Champagne foil and the sentiment ("You're a true friend...") with Sparkle Magenta foil.
-
Ink blend the foiled images using the coordinating stencils:
- Stencil 1: Ballet Slipper (small clocks, light), Soft Lilac (grandfather clock)
- Stencil 2: Soft Lilac (grandfather clock, light), Sheer Freesia (small clocks), Misty Coast (alarm clock details)
- Stencil 3: Peach Fuzz (small clocks, light), Lemon Whip + Peach Fuzz (grandfather clock)
- Stencil 4: Bubble Gum (light hand on small clocks, heavier on grandfather clock)
- Die cut all images and sentiment. Stack 1–2 extra blank die cuts behind each for dimension*.
- Adhere the grandfather clock flat to the embossed panel. Add the square clock with thin foam adhesive, then the alarm clock with thicker foam, slightly overlapping each.
- Attach the sentiment using foam or layered die cuts.
- Embellish to your liking using Metallic Pearls in Gold or a color of your choice.
*Tipp: Adding blank die cuts instead of foam adhesive really helps to give the elements more dimension and stability. This is especially useful for more intricate pieces (like sentiments)!
I love how the dry embossing on the white background panel adds subtle, understated elegance. You can easily recreate this look using other hot foil or press plates—or even coverplate dies!

To elevate the card even more, I added hot foiling for some shine (you could also use heat embossing with metallic powders) and finished it off with metallic pearls for a touch of shimmer.
I hope this card sparked some inspiration for using the beautiful products from the Good Times release! We’d love to see what you create—don’t forget to tag us on social media so we can admire your amazing work. Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting! ✨
