Peony Fantasy shaped cards

Peony Fantasy shaped cards

Hello Pinkfresh friends! Raquel here today sharing some ideas to create fun and dimensional shaped designs.

For todays post I've used the beautiful Peony Fantasy Hot Foil and the coordinating Stencils

The idea behind these projects was to create different arrangements with  the beautiful peonies, secure them with Press & Seal and then cut them out with circles, rectangles and oval dies.

For this first design I used Coral Reef, Ballet Slipper, Begonia, Cherry Blossom, Mimosa and Mulberry Blush . Once I finished coloring them I arranged them on my work surface creating a circle and then placed one of the Essential Folk Edge Circle dies on top. Next up I secure them with Press & Seal and run it through my die cutting machine.

To add some extra texture I adhered some white die cut leaves using the Fall Leaf die onto a circle I had previously die cut with the same die I used to die cut the peonies. Without removing the Press and Seal I added foam adhesive to the back of the flowers and then I placed them onto a bigger circle from the same Essential Folk Edge circle set. Next up I added some Gold Metallic Pearls and stamped the sentiment from the Delicate Foliage Stamp.

Before I foam mounted this circle onto a 4 1/4 by 4 1/2 card, I adhered a panel I had die cut with he Simply Diamonds onto this square card.

I created some more designs with this same technique using different dies to cut out the peonies:

For this card, I used one of dies in the Rounded & Braided rectangles dies set and then foam mounted the peonies onto a bigger die cut piece from the same set.

I hope these designs gave you some ideas to create fun shaped projects.

For my last design, I used the Essentials Braided Tag set. I adhered part of the Floral Outline Frame onto a tag and the placed the peonies on top.

I hope these projects inspire to create fun shaped designs.

Thank you so much for stopping by and happy crafting!

Raquel
