Hi Pinkfresh friends! It’s TaeEun here today with a mini slimline card featuring Folk Edge Circle die set from the May Essentials Release. We’re all exited about the mini slimline dies from the latest release. The basic Mini Slimline Essentials Bundle consists of rectangle borders with stitched and diagonal stitched designs and circle dies with braided and diagonal stitched edges. With the Mini Slimline Envelope die set it makes a perfect basic tool to create mini slimline cards!

For my floral background I used Heartfelt Thanks stamp and layering stencil set. My color scheme for today is coral, teal and gold.

To begin I stamped the Heartfelt Thanks image on Neenah solar white panel in Peach Fuzz as I wanted the image with subtle outline. I then cut a circle from the right side of the panel using a die from Folk Edge Circles die set to do inverted highlight coloring.

I set the circle aside and stenciled the negative piece using the Heartfelt Thanks Layering stencil set. The first layer of the flowers were stenciled in Coral Reef and Marigold. I applied Coral Reef on the petals and Marigold on the center of the flowers. For the second and third layer I used Passion Fruit changing the intensity of the color. For the leaves I chose Sky Blue and Summer Shower. After the stenciling was done I wanted to add some sparkle and shine to the flowers. So I applied an embossing ink through the third layer of the flower stencil and heat embossed it in iridescent sparkle embossing powder. Next I clear heat embossed the  first layer of the flower stencil.

The panel was cut using a diagonal stitched rectangle die from the Mini Slimline Essentials Bundle and foam mounted on a mini slimline cardbase on which I adhered a teal cardstock. The sentiment from Floral Bunch stamp set was gold heat embossed on the die cut circle and added to the card with two layers of foam tape.

To add a gold accent I cut the Leafy Branch 2 once from gold mirror cardstock and once from white cardstock, layered them together and placed it on the card as shown in the picture. I added a few Ocean Breeze Jewels to finish off the card. 

The Mini Slimline Envelope was made using a patterned paper from Keeping it Real paper collection! I used white cardstock for the back of the envelope.
