Layered Snowflakes | Caly Person

Layered Snowflakes | Caly Person

Hi Friends!

It's Caly with you today and I'm sharing a card today made using the recently released Layered Snowflakes dies.

I first created my background using Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon and Peacock Feathers.  I dabbed the ink onto a glass surface, wet it with water, then painted it onto watercolor cardstock and let it drip down.  I dried between each layer to get the colors to saturate and to give the cardstock lots of texture before working on the snowflake layers.

I die-cut my snowflake layers using vellum, silver and white glitter cardstock and layered them together to create my snowflakes.  Then I randomly adhered them to my watercolor background to create a cascade.

My sentiment is from the Tree Trimming Friends stamp set that I embossed in white over black cardstock and adhered at the top of my card using foam adhesive for dimension.  To finish, I added some pink Crystals.

I hope you enjoyed today's card.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
