January 2021 - Year in Review Challenge┃Hearts & Love by Yasmin Diaz

Happy Thursday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a card made inspired by “January 2021 Year in Review’’ challenge.

Therefore, I’ve picked up the color palette from February 2020 “Hearts & Love” challenge to make a Lovely Floral card using Sending Love and Hugs Stamp Set, Sending Love and Hugs Coordinating Die Set, Essentials: Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set, Cling Rubber Stamp: Diagonal Bars, Essentials: Shaker Tags, Artistic Bows Die Set and PFS- Inks. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

To begin with, I started by creating the background panels for the card so, to do that, I went ahead to line up over an A2 white card panel the larger die from Essentials: Stitched Scallop Rectangles Die Set. Then, right after that I’ve got them both line up, I went ahead to run them through my die-cutting machine. Therefore, once I had the die-cutting step done, I went ahead to pop out the center piece from the die-cutting frame and then, I went ahead to ink up the scallop frame using an ink blending brush and Sparkling Rose Ink.

Once, I’ve got the ink blending done over the scallop frame, I went ahead to set if off aside while I’ve gone ahead to place inside my MISTI Stamping Tool the center piece from the die-cutting frame as I wanted to get some stamping done over it using the bar images from Cling Rubber Stamp: Diagonal Bars. That said, right after that I had them both line up, I went ahead to stamp the background stamp image over the center piece of the card panel using Ocean Breeze Ink.

So, as soon as I’ve had finished the stamping over the center panel from the frame, I went ahead to inlay them both and then, I’ve got them mounted with craft foam tape in angle way over an A2 side folding white card base (as shown in the image above). Having that step done, I went ahead to set the card base off to the side while I continued for the floral cluster stamping.

Therefore, for the floral cluster I went ahead to place a white card panel inside my stamping tool. Next, I went ahead to line up over the card panel the solid stamp floral image from Sending Love and Hugs Stamp Set and then, I’ve got it stamped twice over the card panel using Lemon Whip Ink. So on and so forth, I continued the stamping by stamping the detailed stamp image for the flowers with Sweet Mustard Ink and the leaves with Mint Ink. That said, right after that I’ve had finished the stamping for the floral cluster, I’ve gone ahead to line up over the stamped image its coordinated die which happens to be Sending Love and Hugs Coordinating Die Set and then, I ran them through my die-cutting machine to die-cut the floral cluster out of the white card panel.

Moving on, after I’ve got the die-cutting done, I went ahead to foam mount the floral cluster on the left side of the card panel and from there, I went ahead to start the embellishment for the card. As for the embellishments, I went ahead to die-cut 3 times out of black and white striped cardstock the single bow from Artistic Bows Die Set. Next, I glued down with liquid glue their edges and then, I glued them together creating a unique flower bow which I’ve got gluing down with liquid glue over the floral cluster (as you can see in the image above) Lastly, I went ahead to stamp one of the sentiments from the stamp set over a piece of white cardstock using Detail Black Ink which right afterwards, I’ve got it die-cut using one of the dies from Essentials: Shaker Tags and layered over it to another black die-cutting piece which, I created using the same die to balance the black out from the card.

As finishing touches, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue the sentiment on the right side of the card as well as some of the pink jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix which, I adhered here and there to add an extra touch of shine! With that being said, thank you for stopping by we hope you have enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this Lovely Floral card inspired by “January 2021 Year in Review’’ challenge using an array of beautiful products by Pinkfresh.
