Wishing you all a very happy and healthy NEW YEAR, Pinkfresh friends!  It’s TaeEun here today with a New Year’s Slimline card. I made a very cheerful and fancy one to make your day a bit brighter :) !

This card is featuring the Overlapping Leafy Wreath layered stencil set from our latest release, Slim Diagonal Stitched Plaid die, Phrase Builder: Happy Holidays die set and the pretty Artistic Bows.

First I did die cutting three wreaths using the coordinating die. Then I started stenciling the Overlapping Leafy Wreath on the die cut wreaths. The stencil set has four layers. I stenciled the first layer in pink using Sparkling Rose, Bubble Gum, the second one in light blue using Sky Blue, Summer Shower and the third one in purple using Soft Lilac and Candy Violet. I applied clear glitter paste through the fourth stencil and let the wreaths dry.

To create the background panel I watercolored a Mixed Media paper panel in Bubble Gum, Sapphire and Lavender Liquid watercolor and cut it using the Slim Diagonal Stitched Plaid die. I added three wreath to the background panel using foam tape and mounted it on a white slimline cardbase. The sentiment was cut using Phrase Builder: Happy Holidays die set, two times from white cardstock and once from white glitter cardstock. I layered them and added them to the center of three wreaths using foam tape.

I cut the sweet bow using the Artistic Bows die and ink blended it in Sky Blue and Summer Shower. The assembled bow was adhered on the second wreath. I finished off the card with some pink,  light blue and purple Crystals.
