Hello and Happy Friday, Pinkfresh friends! It’s TaeEun here today with a holiday card. My card features some new goodies from the September Holiday Release - Festive Leaves stencil and die, Ornaments product suite and Snowflakes Background stamp. I chose one of my favorite color combinations; light blue, purple and pink for a fresh look of my card!

I started by stenciling the Festive Leaves Background stencil on some white cardstock. I stenciled the leaves in two tones ; pink and purple. The first layer was stenciled in Coral Reef and Lavender and the second layer in Raspberry Bliss and Regal Kiss. I then stenciled the second layer of the berries in Misty Coast. After the stenciling was done, I cut the Festive Leaves using the coordinating die.

I secured the die cut pieces in their places as I wanted to add texture paste to the berries. I applied white texture paste through the first layer of the berries and sprinkled glitter on it. I’m glad that the second layer of the berries which was stenciled in Misty Coast, is showing through the paste!

The Ornaments were heat embossed in silver and stenciled in Soft Lilac, Lavender, Sky Blue and Misty Coast. I colored the base layer in blue and purple and added clear glitter paste to the layer that I colored in Misty Coast. Next I cut the Ornaments and set them aside.

To create the background I first white heat embossed the Snowflakes Background on some watercolor paper and watercolored the panel in purple, pink and light blue. After the panel was dry I cut it using the Folk Edge Rectangles die to cut an outer frame from it.

I foam mounted the frame and added the central rectangle flat to the white cardbase. I then arranged the Festive Leaves using some foam tape and “tied” three Ornaments on the branch with some silver thread as shown in the picture.

The sentiment from the Ornaments set was heat embossed in silver and cut using the coordinating die.

To finish off I added a few Lavender and Sky Blue Jewels.

That’s it from me for today. I hope I was able to inspire you with my card :) !

Wishing you a crafty weekend!

TaeEun
