Framed Chrysanthemum Washi Cards | Dilay Nacar

Framed Chrysanthemum Washi Cards | Dilay Nacar

28 Oct 2022 2 Comments

Welcome, crafty friends! Dee here, and I am back to share two cards that feature the beautiful Chrysanthemum washi and coordinating die from the latest release. These cards are clean, elegant, and super easy to recreate! Let’s begin!

As usual, I like to begin by die-cutting all of the washi tape, and for these two cards, I adhered two sets of the Chrysanthemum washi and then cut it with the coordinating dies. For the first card, I cut a piece of white card stock with the Stitched Rectangle die, ran it through the die cutter with the Floral Tiles Coverplate die, then adhered it onto a top-folding card base.

Next, to create the frame, I cut the Ornate Circle frame die once in gold (saving the negatives for the next card) and once in white, then stacked and adhered them together. I added a few Chrysanthemum washi flowers to the center with foam tape and tucked in a few die-cut Curvy Foliage leaves.

For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the coordinating Chrysanthemum washi stamp set and adhered it over the top. To finish, I added a few Gold Glitter Drops for a little extra sparkle.

For the second card, I cut another piece of cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle die, then cut the large tag die from the Braided Tag die set and adhered it over the top with foam tape. Next, I cut the Ornate Circle frame die in white, adhered it over the top, and inlayed the gold pieces left over from the previous card. For some added texture, I die cut the Stitched Scallop Circle die and incorporated the Floral Tiles design, then adhered it to the center of the frame. I added a few of the Chrysanthemum washi die-cuts to the center with foam tape and tucked in a few die-cut curvy leaves

For the sentiment, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from the coordinating Chrysanthemum washi stamp set and adhered it over the top. As a finishing touch, once again, I added a few Gold Glitter Drops

I hope you enjoyed learning more about my cards today and are inspired to create something fun and new! Thank you so much for stopping by!
