Hi, Pinkfresh Studio fans! It’s Kathleen here again with a card I made with last year's Flourish & Glow release that I completely forgot to share (until now 😉).

Two of my favorite products from that release were the Bloom of Thanks product suite and the Octagon Grid coverplate die. In fact, I already shared two cards made with that coverplate die on the blog (with full step-by-step tutorials). You can find them HERE and HERE.

Here's how to make this card:

1. Card Base & Coverplate Panel: 
   1. Cut (1) top-folding A2 card base & (1) A2 panel from white cardstock, and (1) A2 panel from light pink cardstock. Alternative: ink blend an A2 panel with Ballet Slipper.
   2. Die cut the A2 panel with the Octagon Grid coverplate die. For this card only the actual grid die cut is needed.
      
   3. Adhere the grid to the card front using foam adhesive. Then trim off the corners of the card base to match the octagon shapes.
2. Bloom of Thanks Florals:
   1. Ink blend Bloom of Thanks stencils (only 1 & 2) on the white A2 panel (one A2 panel fits two sets of florals).
   2. Use Marigold, Apricot, and Raspberry Bliss for the petals (mix & match them), and Grassy Knoll and Olive for the leaves.
   3. Die cut both using the coordinating dies.
   4. Fill each octagon window with one or two die cuts. Use foam adhesive to pop some of them up.
3. Sentiment:
   1. Hot foil " You’re the perfect mix..." from the Keepsakes of the Heart press plate in gold on white cardstock.
   2. Die cut and stack with (2) blank die cuts.
   3. Adhere centered onto the card front.
4. Embellishing: Embellish the card to your liking, using Glitter Drops in Champagne.

I love this juxtaposition of the dainty but bright and colorful florals with the large geometric but softly-colored frame!
