Creating a Dimensional Floral Frame with Peony Glow | Dana Kirby

Hi friends! It's Dana here today and I back with a card that uses the Peony Glow stamp, stencil and die set to create a beautiful floral frame. Each floral cluster was inked in cheerful colors using the coordinating stencils and then attached to a card panel that was created with the Petal Trellis die. I love how all of the floral clusters can be combined to create gorgeous design elements that can be used for so many different occasions.

How to recreate this card:

1. Create a side-folding A2 card base from white cardstock.

2. Use the Petal Trellis coverplate die to die cut a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" card panel. Adhere to the card base using liquid glue.

3. Stamp the floral clusters (two times) and sentiment with the Peony Glow stamp set and black ink onto white cardstock. 

4. Add color to the floral images with the Peony Glow stencils.

• Stencil 1: Marigold
• Stencil 2: Slumber
• Stencil 3: Sparkling Rose
• Stencil 4: Bubble Gum
• Stencil 5: Apricot

5. Die cut all of the elements with the Peony Glow coordinating dies. 

6. Attach the floral corner pieces to the edges of the card panel with foam adhesive and use the smaller floral clusters to complete and add depth to your frame.

7. Attache your sentiment to the center of the frame.

8. Embellish with Clear with Gold Dust gems for a little extra detail.
