Hello, crafty friends! It’s TaeEun here today, sharing a floral card featuring the Steeped in Kindness Press Plate, Elegant Circles, and Stitched Basket Weave coverplate die. I created a DIY dimensional floral background using the cute floral elements from the Steeped in Kindness suite. With spring just around the corner in the northern hemisphere, I chose a soft pastel color palette for this card.

Here’s how I made this card:
- Hot foil the floral images and the bird from the Steeped in Kindness Press Plate in gold three times.
- Use the coordinating stencils to color the hot foiled images with the following ink shades:
- Flowers : Apricot, Peony, Coral Reef
- Small flowers : Peony, Lavender, Summer Shower
- Leaves : Summer Shower, Ocean Breeze, Grassy Knoll
- Stem : Sheer Freesia
- Center of the flowers : Sweet Mustard
- Bird : Blue Jay, Candy Violet, Summer Shower / Beak and feet : Metropolis - Cut the images using the coordinating die.
- Ink blend an A2 sized white panel in Apricot, Peony, Ocean Breeze, and Grassy Knoll, leaving the center uncolored.
- Die cut the background panel with the Stitched Basket Weave coverplate die and adhere it to a white cardbase.
- Arrange the stenciled flowers onto the card as shown, using foam tape for added dimension.
- Trim any excess elements from the edges.
- Die cut the Elegant Circle twice from white cardstock and once from Glacier Glitter Cardstock, layer them together, and add to the center of the card.
- Hot foil the sentiment from the Steeped in Kindness Press Plate and the second sentiment from the Favorite Things Sentiments Press Plate in gold, and cut with the coordinating dies.
- Add the sentiments using foam tape and place the bird on top of them.
- Embellish with a few Gold Metallic Pearls for a finishing touch.

I love how the gold foiling adds a touch of elegance to this soft pastel card! I hope this inspires you to create your own spring-themed projects.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy crafting!
