Hi Pinkfresh Studio fans! It's Kathleen on the blog today with a fresh, springy card that's perfect for sending to a friend to let them know you're thinking of them. Because getting some surprise mail without a special occasion is the best kind of mail in my opinion!

Let's take a look at how you can recreate it:
-
Preparation: Prepare (1) top or side-folding A2 card base & (3) A2 panels from white cardstock.
-
Postcard Background:
- Die cut (1) A2 panel with the largest Nested Rectangle Postage Edge die.
- Mask off the edges with low-tack masking tape & lightly ink blend from top to bottom with Sky Blue & Misty Coast. Carefully peel off masking tape.
- Adhere centered onto the card base using foam adhesive.
-
Darling District House:
- Stamp the Darling District image in Detail Black on another A2 panel of white cardstock. Heat set or let dry completely before ink blending.
- Ink blend using the coordinating layering stencils. Use Peach Fuzz & Apricot (facade), Cherry Blossom (awnings), and Sky Blue (windows).
- Stamp the word "Boutique" in Peony onto the awning.
-
Die cut using the coordinating die & adhere centered on the card front using thin foam adhesive. Keep the other house for another project.
-
Fragrance Notes Florals:
- Stamp the Fragrance Notes image in Detail Black on a piece of white cardstock. Heat set or let dry completely before ink blending.
- Ink blend using the coordinating layering stencils. Use Fresh Pear (leaves), Marigold (flower centers), and Apricot, Cherry Blossom, and Peony (flowers).
- Die cut using the coordinating die & adhere along the bottom of the house using foam adhesive. Tuck two die cuts behind the house to add even more dimension.
-
Sentiment:
- Hot foil a sentiment from the Darling District press plate in gold foil on a piece of white cardstock. Die cut & stack with (1) blank piece.
- Die cut another layer from Gold Glitter Cardstock & adhere it slightly offset.
- Add the sentiment to the upper right corner on the card front.
- Embellish to your liking using Metallic Pearls in gold.
I love how fresh and bright this card looks! The sentiments in the Darling District stamps & press plates are absolutely perfect for those "just because" cards (which are my favorite kind of cards)!

I hope you feel inspired by this card to mix and match your products and build little scenes with the Darling District product suite.
And as always, we’d love to see what you create—don’t forget to tag us on social media (@pinkfreshstudio and @cardsandconfetti) so we can admire your amazing work.
