Creating a Festive & Fun Inlaid Card Panel | Dana Kirby

Hello Crafty Friends!

It's Dana here today and I am back with a card that uses the wonderful Christmas Lights coverplate die. This die creates a full panel of twinkling bulbs, that are perfect for inlaying with your favorite holiday colors.  This type of card is easy and relaxing to make and I hope I inspire you to make one of your own.

How to recreate this card:

1. Use the Christmas Lights coverplate die to die cut your card panel from white cardstock.

2. Attach your panel to an A2 card base.

3. Die cut the panel again from light pink, dark pink, golden yellow, green and blue cardstock. 

4. Inlay the colored bulbs back into the card panel with liquid glue to create a clean and simple background.

5. Use the Timeless Tidings stencils to add color to your ornament and greenery.

• Stencil 1: Key Lime (light handed) and Sky Blue
• Stencil 2: Cherry Blossom
• Stencil 3: Sky Blue
• Stencil 4: Key Lime 

6. Use the Timeless Tidings dies to die cut your stenciled images.

7. Use the Once Upon a Holiday stamp set to stamp your sentiment onto the ornament with black ink. 

8. Attach your images to your card panel with foam adhesive.
