Christmas card with DIY stencil | Kristina Pokazanieva

Hello friends! It’s Kristina here and today I’m sharing this Christmas card made using Floral Ornate die as a stencil.

This beautiful die is so versatile, it can be used in many different ways. For my today’s card I decided to make a stencil using this die. So to do that, I placed the die on top of clear acetate sheet and running this through my die cutting machine.

Once my own stencil was done, I placed it on top of white piece of paper and added embossing paste through the stencil. Next, I removed the stencil and sprinkled the embossing paste with glitter embossing powder. I used gold and silver glitter powders.

After it was dry naturally, I heated it with my heat gun. Next, I trimmed the edges of my panel using my paper trimmer before foam mounted it to the light grey card base with foam tape.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from Our Home to yours stamp set onto stripe of white cardstock with clear embossing inks and gold heat embossed. To finished my card I’ve added glitter gems.

Hope you liked my card! Have a great weekend!

Kristina

Gorgeous, this is such a fab use for a panel die. I’ve never made my own stencils, but this wonderful design has inspired me to give it a try.
