Hello, Pinkfresh Studio friends! I hope everyone is having a great holiday season and is ready to ring in the New Year! Today, I am sharing an elegant celebration card featuring the new Detailed Leaf hot foil plate, layering stencils, and coordinating die!
I began by creating the backdrop for my leaf, first cutting the Essentials Stitches background die, then the Essentials Braided Oval frame die. Before adhering the frame to the background, I wove in gold thread to add some detail around the edge. Next, I foiled the leaf in matte gold, then colored it in using a combination of pinks and purples to create a soft gradient blend. Ink colors: Regal Kiss, Candy Violet, Bubble Gum, and Coral Reef.
Once finished, I die cut the leaf with the coordinating die, adhered a looped piece of gold thread behind it, and mounted it onto the oval using foam tape.
For the sentiment, I foiled and die cut ‘celebrate’ and adhered it to the card using more foam tape. As a finishing touch, I added some gold Glitter Drops for a little extra sparkle. I hope you enjoyed my card today! Wishing you all a very happy 2023!
