Happy Thursday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you an inspiration card with a “Floral & Masculine” look made with using the just released; Botanical Bunch Stamp, Botanical Bunch Die and Botanical Bunch Layering Stencils to create the floral look. Along with them, I used Hexagon Tiles Cover Plate Die to add the detailed die-cutting background. Also, Phrase Builder - Hello Die Set for the dimensional die-cutting card sentiment plus, PFS- Inks to add the pops of colors to the floral bunch. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

Therefore, I started off by getting the stamping and gold heat embossing done over a large piece of white cardstock using my stamping tool along with the large stamp image included in Botanical Bunch Stamp. As for the stamping, I used Versamark ink and embossing powder tool along with gold embossing powder plus a heat gun embossing tool to heat set the embossing powder.

Thus, after getting the stamping and heat embossing done over the card stock, I went ahead to add the pop of colors to the floral bunch using some ink blending brushes along with each stencil included in Botanical Bunch Layering Stencils and the following color combination inks; Sunshine Ink, Marigold Ink, Clementine Ink and Persimmon Ink for the yellow-orange flowers. Also, Sky Blue Ink, Storm Ink and Sapphire Ink for the blue flowers and lastly Sunshine Ink, Grassy Knoll Ink and Olive Ink for the greenery. Having that said, as soon as, I had finished the layered stenciling, I went ahead to use its coordinating Botanical Bunch Die along with my die cut machine to cut out the floral bunch out of the cardstock.

Next, as soon as I’ve had finished cutting out the floral bunch image, I went ahead to cut out two more images but those times out of plain white cardstock. Once, I had that done, I went ahead to set them off aside to keep going with the die-cutting for the detailed card background. So, to do that, I went ahead to line up over an A2 size white card panel the Hexagon Tiles Cover Plate Die and then, I ran them through the die cut machine to add the dainty stitching detail to it.

Then, as soon as, I had finished adding the detailed die-cutting to the card panel, I went ahead to use my paper trimmer to trim off 1/4 of an inch from each side and then, I proceeded to get the backing of it adhered to an A2 size top folding white card base. Right after that I had gotten the card background adhered to the card base, I’ve gone ahead to set it off aside as well to keep going with the die-cutting process for the card sentiments. As for the card sentiments, I used Phrase Builder - Hello Die Set to cut out their shadow layers from white cardstock and their top layers from gold cardstock. Therefore, once I had finished cutting all layers off, I went ahead to layer the top layers over their shadow layers and then, I proceeded to get the card assembling started so, to do that, I went ahead to get glue down the layered Handsome die-cutting sentiment over the detailed front card panel, just as shown in the image above.

Moving on, once I had that done, I proceeded to add some interaction to the card so, to do that, I grabbed an A2 size top folding white card base and them I put it upside down with the opening up to be more specific. Next, I lined up the bottom part of the floral bunch die edge-to-edge with the folding part and then, I went ahead to partially cut out the floral bunch to create a hinge over the folding part creating that way a fun fold or a tri-fold card if you will. So, once I gotten that done, I proceeded to get the bottom flap from the partially die-cutting card base adhered edge-to-edge inside the other card base. Then, I went ahead to finish the card off by closing it up and then by gluing down the stenciled and die-cutting floral bunch image.

Therefore, once I had the card base fully closed, I went ahead to layer the stenciled and die-cutting floral bunch image over the plain white die-cutting images that I created earlier to create dimension and then, I went ahead to get the backing of it gluing down over the partially cut out front flap to add a little weight as well.

Lastly, I finished the card off by getting glue down the backing of the layered Hello die-cutting sentiment over the lower center of the floral image. As, you can see by doing it that way, the lovely recipient will have a little interaction while opening this fun fold card in order to be able to read not only a plain “Hello” but the hidden “Handsome” part as well. Is that so much fun on a masculine inspiration card, isn’t it!??
