Happy Thursday, Pinkfresh friends! Yasmin here sharing with you a very delicate with a “Botanical & Butterflies” look inspiration card made with lots of dimension and gold touches using: Botanical and Butterflies Cling Stamp, Botanical and Butterflies Die, Botanical and Butterflies Layering Stencils, and Floral Grid Cover Pate Die from the latest February-2022 Stamp, Dies, Stencil & Hot Foil Release. Along with this set and cover plate die, I’ve used Metallic Pearls: Sparkling Champagne to add a pop of sparkle and of course, PFS- Inks to add the pops of color to the leaves and butterflies. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it.

Therefore, I started off by getting the stamping done, thus I went head to place an A2 size white card panel inside my MISTI stamping tool, and then, I proceeded to line up line up over it the Botanical and Butterflies Cling Stamp to get the image stamped twice for a better impression using embossing ink. Next, as soon as I’ve had finished the stamping, I’ve got it gold heat embossing as well.

Thus, as soon as, I’ve had finished the stamping and heat embossing over the card panel, I went ahead to line it up over my stenciling platform to get it ink up using: some regular and mini detailed ink blending brushes along with a combination of Grassy Knoll Ink and Olive Ink to ink up the branch and leaves + Ballet Slipper Ink, Coral Reef Ink, Passion Fruit Ink, and Detail Black Ink to ink up the butterflies. Lastly, I used Peach Fuzz Ink and Apricot Ink to ink up the small flowers as well.

Next, as soon as I’ve had finished the ink blending over the card panel using the coordinating layering stencils, I’ve gone ahead to put it off to the side to let the inks settled into the paper. Meanwhile, I went ahead to line up the Floral Grid Cover Pate Die over an A2 size white card panel and then, I proceeded run then through the die -cut machine to add the delicate die-cutting touch to it. Then, to continue with the die-cutting process, I went ahead to line up over the inked card panel the Botanical and Butterflies Die which happens to be its coordinating die; to cut out the butterflies and the botanical branch as well.

Having that said, after finishing the die-cutting process, I went ahead to get the backing of the detailed die-cutting panel glue down over an A2 size top folding white card base for a white-on-white look and then, I proceeded to get the botanical branch mounted over the front card panel using square foam adhesives to add a little bit of dimension. By the way, this botanical branch it’s designed to go facing down however, it works well facing up as well just, as you can see in the image above.

So, after getting the botanical branch mounted over the card, I went ahead to glue down the butterflies (as shown in the image above) and then, I’ve got mounted the card sentiment as well. A card sentiment which I’ve had previously stamp and heat emboss over a strip of white cardstock using one of the sentiments including in Spark of Goodness Cling Stamp. Finally, to finish the card off, I went ahead to glue down here and there some of the Metallic Pearls: Sparkling Champagne to add a pop of sparkle to it.
