We are excited to announce our Create & Connect TECHNIQUES FOR CARDMAKERS virtual card-making event! Join us in August for 2 jam-packed days full of crafty fun with our amazing instructors: Anett Gelencsér, Carissa Wiley, Emily Midgett, Isha Gupta, Jennifer McGuire, and Kathleen Schmelz.

You'll have the luxury of creating beautiful, elegant, and timeless Pinkfresh Studio cards from the comfort of your own home, thanks to these amazingly talented designers!

Registering for our Create & Connect virtual event will give you access to 6 LIVE classes during the event dates. These classes will use brand-new Pinkfresh Studio products that have never been seen or sold before! Throughout each class, you will explore and learn new card-making techniques while gaining tips and tricks for using your event products. 

Each class will be about 2 hours long, and you will create 2 cards with each instructor. We will provide a printed booklet for each class, containing instructions for each card created, in case you wish to complete the class projects at your own pace.

Each instructor will also provide 2 bonus projects and instructions for make-and-take cards that you will create on your own. These will give you more ideas for stretching your supplies and getting continued use from all the beautiful products in your event kit! These make-and-take projects will have a short video as well as written instructions for each card.

Class 1 - The Shelf Edit: Dimensional Cards with a Twist

Create a little world inside your card! In this class taught by Anett, you will build a cozy little scene with layered elements and inky details using a clever shadow box design with shelves. Class 2 - The Art of Interactive Cards: Movement, Layers & Magic

Class 5 - Inky Impressions: Ombré Stamping & Ink Blending

You must have the general supplies listed below to complete the classes.
  • White cardstock (We recommend Hammermill 100 lb premium cover cardstock)
  • Dye inks (we will share the list of inks used by our instructors)
  • Vellum sheets
  • Blending brushes
  • Anti-static powder tool
  • Embossing ink
  • Embossing powder (gold or any other color of your choice)
  • Heat gun
  • Die-cutting machine
  • Paper trimmer

Create & Connect classes will take place in the USA Central Time Zone between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM on August 23rd and 24th, using private YouTube links accessible only to registered attendees. We will send an invite to join our event Facebook group in the 3rd week of July. All of the class videos will be available indefinitely on YouTube. 

***YOU MUST ANSWER ASKED QUESTIONS TO JOIN OUR PRIVATE FACEBOOK GROUP. We will only approve your request to join if ALL QUESTIONS ARE ANSWERED.

Not only will our opening welcome session and all classes take place in the group, but you will be able to share your projects with us and connect with all of the instructors and fellow students! We hope this event will foster lasting connections and friendships among papercrafters from around the world. We cannot wait to create and connect with you!
