I look forward to November 1st. This is the day I start preparing for the holidays, including putting up the decorations. Every day from then on is exciting and full of opportunities to spread joy. ♥

This year in an effort to learn about other peoples celebrations we have decided to celebrate or observe Hanukkah as well as our regular Christmas celebrations. Our family is very excited to learn and I was lucky enough to have a childhood friend help us out with understanding all the details.

I look forward to hopefully being able to see my parents. Since the pandemic we have not been able to have a couple of scheduled visits since they live out of state and I am holding out hope that by Christmas it may be safe enough for them to travel again. It may be wishful thinking, but I think that is part of the holidays, making audacious wishes.
