Twinkle, featuring Oh What Fun! | Jung A

Twinkle, featuring Oh What Fun! | Jung A

Hi crafty friends! It's Jung here, and I'm back with another layout using the Oh What Fun! collection.  I made another layout using embellishments, and nestling them together like a puzzle, similar to the layout I made here.

I started out by cutting a big circle from the center of a white piece of cardstock using my silhouette machine. On another piece of white cardstock, I lightly traced the circle as a guide for where to stick my embellishments, then set the circle cut cardstock aside.

Next, I started filling the inside of the circle, nestling all the embellishments together. I started off with my title "twinkle" from the puffy phrase stickers to insure I wouldn't run out of room.

Then I started to add embellisments around the title, making sure to keep in mind my circle, but also overlapping the circle a little bit. I used pieces from the ephemera packpuffy stickerschipboard stickerscardstock stickers, and some enamel dots. I also fussy cut some pieces from the Snow Globes, Christmas Gifts, and Season of Joy pattern papers. To add another layer of detail, and to fill in some of the smaller spots, I again used the Home for the Holiday stamp set to stamp the tiny snowflake with the Starry Night ink cube set. I also added tiny sequins from my stash to add a bit of the twinkle.

Next, I went back to the first cardstock with the circle cut out. I wanted to add a little more detail, so I hand stitched around the circle. Once finished, I added foam squares to the back, and carefully placed it over the cardstock with all the ephemera, and adhered it in place.

I backed my photo with holiday walk pattern paper, along with a few tags from the Journaling Bits set, and then adhered it to the left side of the layout. I typed out some journaling strips, and glued them to the right of the layout. I added just a couple of cardstock stickers to finish off the layout.

I really love how this layout turned out, and I am loving all the bits and pieces of this collection. I hope you were inspired by my project and got a few ideas to get crafty.

Don't forget to check out all the Oh What Fun! products.  Thanks for stopping by, and have a lovely day.

Love this layout! I never would have thought of layering a circle like that – just might have to try this today!
