Turning Patterned Paper Shapes into a Custom Title | Eva Pizarro

Hello everyone! It’s Eva here on the blog today, sharing a layout where I played with patterned paper in a fun and creative way.

For this project, I challenged myself to use the shapes from one of the patterned papers in the Legendary Collection to build custom letters for the title. By cutting and combining different geometric elements, I was able to create a unique, handmade look that adds interest and personality to the design while still keeping everything cohesive.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Cut several shapes from the patterned papers.
2. Arrange the shapes and glue them to create the letters for your title.
3. Add the numbers to the left side of the page and place your photo on top.
4. Add embellishments like Chipboard shapes, stickers and Ephemera pieces.
   
5. Finish the layout with your journaling spot and a strip of colored fabric stickers at the top and bottom of the page.

Tip: When creating custom letters with patterned paper, try mixing solids and subtle patterns. This helps each letter stand out while keeping the title easy to read.
