Hey friends!  Brianna Lepper here today sharing a new layout using The Best Day collection.  I hope you like it!

To start, I took a few papers from the 6x6 paper pad and die cut them using the Lacy Floral Die Cut Set.  I thought they'd be great layering pieces for my page.  I then die cut a few more papers using the Mini Slimline Stitched Scallop Rectangle Die. I wanted to create little sections for my photo and a few embellishment clusters.  Once they were all cut, I backed the frames with more patterned paper and set them aside.  Using a piece of textured white cardstock as my base, I took two 12x12 patterned papers scraps and tore the edges for more interest.  I layered them together and adhered them to the left side of my page and then adhered my backed frames to the right side.

When I backed the rectangle frames, I made sure to pop the entire frame up on foam tape for a bit of interest and so that I could also have some space to tuck in embellishments. I treated each frame like they were their own separate little layout.  I adhered the lacy floral die cut pieces to the center of each frame and embellished using the regular ephemera, floral ephemera and cardstock stickers.

For a little something extra around my page, I took the Small Butterflies Stamp and heat embossed it on vellum using pink glitter embossing powder.  I then die cut them out using the coordinating Small Butterflies Die.  They came out so pretty!!  I ran the butterflies die through my machine one more time using plain white cardstock, then adhered my vellum butterflies to each one by only adding a small amount of glue to the centers.  I popped their wings up and scattered them around my page.  They came out so soft and sparkly!

I added a one of the journaling bits to the left of my frames since that area seemed a bit empty.  I popped up an ephemera piece as a little subtitle and that completed my page!

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope that I've inspired you in some way today!  I'll see you in my next post!

Why does PinkFresh show a distorted view of all their dies by slanting them to the right? It makes for an ugly inventory image for purchase files.
